Witness report: Directly SE of the moon this evening my wife and I noticed what I assumed was a satellite moving NNE coming from the south. The light was faint, but quite visible. It passed by the only bright star in that part of the sky this time of night and it was moving towards the only other fairly bright star NNE of that star. We kept watching it and as it approached the 2nd star it stopped and reversed course! It started back towards the first star along the same path, but when it got half way between the two stars it vanished. I got my binoculars and scanned the area between the two stars but did not see the, suspected, UFO again. This was at 7:35 p.m. CST
The only way I could figure out how to measure the distance between the two stars was by putting my right index finger about three inches in front of my eyes and the distance was equal to the length of my index finger. Pretty freaky in my opinion.
